Riseup Society Alberta is a place of hope and healing for women impacted by domestic abuse, and educates and empowers communities to rise up and end violence and abuse. Riseup Society Alberta helped over 200 women from Leduc and surrounding areas in 2014 and provided 722 counselling sessions.

Our services include individual counselling, support groups, presentations and a resource library. Individual counselling is provided on a sliding fee scale to women by professional Riseup Society Alberta counselors. These sessions help women explore the complexity and confusion of domestic abuse and empower them to rise up and break the cycle of abuse. Support groups are offered weekly to help women achieve significant healing and hope for a more positive future.

Riseup Society Alberta has been providing specialized domestic violence services since 2007. We are grateful to Edmonton International Airport for selecting Riseup Society Alberta as one of the recipients of the EIA Charity Golf Classic proceeds.
